I managed and created an educational "Intro to Beekeeping" experience that incorporated AR and VR elements for the USDA. Multiple teams collaborated to bring together the different parts. I was primarily in charge of the overall project concept, timeline, and VR development.
Learners would start by learning about beekeeping from informational poster boards. Using an iPad, they would scan QR codes to view videos and interactive models of bees. They would then move on to the VR portion, which consisted of two different levels. The first level was a 360 video of a real apiary with interactive hotspots. When clicked, the hotspots displayed educational videos of specific activities performed in an apiary. The second level was a quiz where learners would need to pull out different beehive frames to locate a specific type of bee.
